I like both sports because their is so much creativity. I will say that pro soccer has way more colorful fans than basketball (but not college). However, basketball is a very tough sport Unlike soccer, you can win or loss on the final play. A jumpshot also requires much more practice than kicking the ball. The one big knock I have on soccer is that the team that plays worse can win the game. In basketball, there are upsets, but the underdog almost always outplays the favorite in order to win.

Soccer greatest sport in the world played by everyone and anyone. it’s more than a sport but a passion and is defined in people cultures. basketball is just played by poor black kids and is not nearly as international as soccer lol basketball stands no chance at all. and soccer is literally the most diverse country in the world while basketball is played mostly by americand and dominated by afro americans. not soccer

@spurs8810, Yeah but that hardley ever happens. It’s like survival of the fittest. Shorter players will adapt a different style that plays to their advantege. If Allen Iverson (only 5′11 yet one of the greatest scores ever) was Kobes height, he’d play entirely different. He would lose quickness, COG, ball handling etc. So same can be said with soccer, shorter players have an advantege because you’ll likely never see a 6′11 Midfielder.

Even though I like basketball better, I have to admit that soccer is the perfect sport because it doesn’t favor size like basketball. In basketball taller people will be better than shorter people with the same abilities.
